I agree with , this is a reproduction,not a real widows mite. You see there was no banks and people put in muslin bags and buried it in the sands. so, if you were out walking in Egypt and came upon a bag,this and schekles (thirty pieces silver to buy off Judas) is what you would find. its known as a cache. it would have dirt,corrosion and green patina, i have 30 years in this field, i come with references, from New York City dealers in auction houses and Stacks coin auctions
