The listing, For the Firefighting Couple has ended.

Great set for the firefighter and his wife. The charm bracelet has helmets, hydrants, extinguishers and fire trucks and the coin is St. Florian Patron of Firefighters. On the flip side of the coin reads "Protect us from harm" and is known to be carried by firefighters in their pockets or their boots, anywhere it can't overheat and burn them. It's a great and thoughtful set for a loving couple where they are both heroes. One for running where others leave and one for being married to him.

My son is a firefighter and emt. He is a wonderful young man who I am VERY VERY PROUD of. I would love to win this for him. He started as a junior firefighter at 14 yrs old and he is now 25 yrs old. He is now a Lt. This would be such a very special gift. My husband just left firefighting but is a lifetime member. His hips couldn't handle it anymore. I too was part of the fire department. I did tours and the auxiliary. Again, these pieces would mean so much to me. Thank you so very much! Arlene :)

I was state certified and a paramedic when my back couldn't handle it anymore. Now I'm passing along a lot of things to let the new generation enjoy them. Keep your eyes open for more firefighting EMT items in the near future!

My son in law and daughter are part of the Red Knights (firefighters) motorcycle group, they r doing a benefit and auction for foster/adoptive parent and children in June, this would be an awesome item to auction....... will be watching

I will be having other items firefighting related soon as well. Back gave out on me and had to give it up. Was a volunteer and a paid paramedic and now it's time to give some of these items and duplicate items to future generations.

Well, you do know that once you are a hero, you ALWAYS ARE A HERO!!!!!! May God always bless you and keep you and your family safe and sound! I will be watching VERY VERY CLOSELY for the wonderful items that you will be passing down the line. They will be going from one blessed hero to another. Thank you so much. This one job was my life. I loved this job. It was my calling, even though it was a late calling in life it was still my calling. And the people including nurses and doctors felt I did it well. Even though that wasn't necessary, it was good to get a pat on the back occasionally. I hated to leave the job but my two jobs I love caused so much damage to my back that now I get to sit at home and wait for surgery to become necessary. My other job for 20 years was animal health technician then I went into schooling for both state certification firefighting and EMT-Paramedic. Worked at that for 20 years and here I am. I will be happy to let you know when I'm going to put things up for auction. Alright?

I thank you so very much! I too had to retire from the job that was the love of my life. I was a RN nurse and I took care of nothing but the GREATEST PEOPLE ON EARTH! THE ELDERLY! I was in 2 very horrible head on car accidents that were not my fault but left me unable to walk for a couple of months. I had to give up my little old people and that threw me into a very severe depression. That was everything to me! Once I had 5 surgeries including back and neck, including metal discs in my neck, I did do some private duty cases. I did my last case in 2009 when my little gentleman passed away. He was my last. I now have a leg brace. I watch my grandson. I guess you can see how and why I cherish the field of people who help and save others! Thank you so very much again for letting me know when you post items. It has been a pleasure speaking with you too.

Yes it is a stretch bracelet. I like those better in some aspects because one size fits all but they do wear out and break. I always test mine before going out so I know what to do. When I really, really like a bracelet and I find the time, I restring as permanent with a clasp. But as a 911 paramedic and volunteer firefighter, I never found the time! I love this auction though and hope that these items find their way to another firefighting couple that they can protect and remind of the time they have together!
