Description
The listing, Euonymus japonicus - three live cuttings has ended.
Euonymus japonicus is a popular ornamental plant for parks and gardens, both in its native area and also in Europe and North America. In particular the numerous cultivars which have been selected (often with variegated or yellow leaves) are widely grown in all soil types in sun or shade.
These cuttings are the variegated type. They are super easy care shrubs. They grow just fine in the shade but will tolerate sun and partial sun. I just love these plants. They are evergreen and they lend wonderful color in the winter!
Questions & Comments
Are these rooted or will the winner have to root them?
These are fresh cuttings from my garden but they root VERY easily, almost foolproof. I have stuck cuttings into soil in a flowerpot and they rooted and survived the winter with no mulching.
These are NOT rooted but they root very easily. You can just stick them in some soil and they will root. They would probably also root in water but I have had great luck just sticking them in a flower pot. The cuttings in the soil stay green all winter and do not wilt.
It is winter hardy and evergreen. I have not kept them indoors as a house plant, and have not heard of them being kept indoors, but have not heard any contraindications either
