The listing, Battle of Britain $5 Commemorative Coin has ended.
Battle of Britain $5 Commemorative Coin with insert. Coin was issued by the Republic of the Marshall Islands-1990 The coin is mint and protected by plastic. Insert tells the story of the Battle of Britain and WWII. Insert has a few tears as you can see in the photos. Great piece of history.
Don't want to disappoint but except for few rare exception that clear state they are other wise the Marshall Island Commeratives are usually Copper nickel. In fact the insert you have in the photograph states that it is a Copper Nickel coin. Still an interesting find. I am watching because I have a Columbia Space Shuttle $5 commemorative that I might be interested in listing if there is enough interest in your coin.
Oops. sorry you are right it is a copper nickel mix. I just read the insert, never noticed it. I did have some silver coins but they were from the Franklin Mint. Well if you ever go to the Marshall Islands you can buy a couple packs of gum or something. JK. thank everyone.
