Feathery flowers resemble flocks of delicate tropical birds. Their bright yellow color is rarely available in climbers. Foliage is striking, deeply lobed and a vibrant green. Pretty on a trellis, arbor or hanging basket. Trimming will help maintain shape while growing. Grows up to 8 feet high!! :)

Canary Creeper
Tropaeolum peregrinum, canary creeper, is a tender perennial grown as an annual in northern zones. Canary creeper is related to nasturtium and has round broad leaves similar to nasturtium. The flowers are orange, yellow or red and are fringed, giving the appearance of small birds in the leaves. Canary creeper likes partial shade, and is edible (except for the roots)

I bet they will do awesome in AL although I can never guarantee that... :) Kept watered and in enough sun they should do AWESOME :)
