This is the most beautiful Dinner Ring that has ever been gifted to me. Despite, how amazingly gorgeous this ring is, I don't like how Dinner Rings feel on my fingers. I have worn this one only for the purpose of size & pictures to Auction it away for Credits. The ring is a size 8. It can be resized. I am not a jeweler. Don't take what I say about the size & resizing at face value. It is an old ring. I might have it appraised. There aren't any indications inside the ring to state that it's real. But the Purple Center piece might be worth $. It doesn't cut glass. If it did, that would be an indicator of a diamond, but it doesn't. Still, it is an attractive ring. I took a deep look into the center of the ring w/ a magnify glass. W/ the correct view, light, angle, and hew, I saw a deep Purple Butterfly. This ring will never cease to amaze me! If you love Butterfly's, as I do then I guarantee you will cherish this RING! This Purple Butterfly Ring has exquisite carved Hearts in both the front & back of the Purple stone. Down the front on both sides of The Purple Stone are delicately shaped golden butterfly's. I took pictures of this ring, but the true beauty will be known to the WINNER, as the pictures failed to give this ring justice, especially when I tried to highlight the Center of the ring. The Purple Stone. This, my reasoning for naming it, "The Purple Butterfly Ring." It has different hews of purple. It depends on the shade of light and time of day you're in while wearing it.
