Old Navy size LARGE is a ladies/misses size. However, it does fit a typical Extra-large. Old Navy is notorious for cutting their clothes much larger than your typical standard size. That being said, one could classify this as a "plus size" garment as it can fit a lady with a 14/16 size top. Hope that helps! (<<<------ Old navy junkie)

TY for clarifying. Like U, I LOVE Old Navy Clothing! Im Plus Size (12-14) and this fits....Their Large sometimes runs small, so that is why I gave measurements above to show what it will fit around the bust & waist ~ Because this has a very elastic waist, it will give to stretch....Hope that Helps!
