Like new 77 mm Tiffen UV filter. There are no scratches or marks on the filter and can hardly tell that it is a used filter.Why would you want to use a UV filter on your lens?
1) The filter blocks UV light and removes the blue cast from images taken in very bright sunny conditions
2) It adds a layer of protection against the front element of your lens. If by accident you bump into something the filter will take the impact instead of the lens.
