Description

The listing, Nice Bag Blue Turquoise Stone Chips Beads has ended.

Nice little 1-inch square bag of beautiful turquoise chips ... probably real turquoise but also probably dyed this very saturated color. Very pretty, tiny and delicate chips for earrings, necklaces, and other crafts.

This is my ONLY lot of these ..

This ships MONDAY or Tuesday ... I am on vacation and can't ship until I get back and it may take me a day or two to get things organized and shipped. I also may not be able to answer comments every day, but will do my best to answer questions when I can get online.

Please see my other bead and jewelry auctions ... lots of variety, something for everyone! Watch my upcoming listings at http://www.listia.com/profile/auctions/28303!

You know what really makes blue eyes pop? Lavender or purple. I think I sold all my purple beads, but I'll look for more. I bought a bunch of purple beads a while back because both my sister and my daughter have blue eyes, but the necklaces I tried making from them just never made me happy, so I kept taking them apart!

Turquoise beads that are dyed like this are called "stabilized."---That means that the whole bead often isn't completely the same color/degree of Turquoise so to make it more appealing the beads are dyed to "stabilize" the color over the whole thing. These have a really nice color to them.

Thanks Lady! Yup, these are a very rich, bright color. I doubt natural turqouise ever looks quite this color, although some of the old turquoise jewelry is very bright (see the sterling earrings I have listed ... they are old and just gorgeous turquoise, and probably genuine natural color).
