Here is a great looking Vintage Men's Pink Barrel Shape Windup Wristwatch. It is from around the 1940's and is in excellent condition as well as in excellent working condition and keeps great time. I have worn it for a couple of days. The Top Case is Pink Gold Filled and back looks to be Stainless but not marked and the Dial (face) is Pink also. The Vintage Stretch Band is also Pink and in very good conditon (not stretched out anywhere). It feels great on the wrist also. The Movement is marked, Benrus Watch Co., 15 Jewels, Model BB 2, Swiss, Unajusted. It also has a New Crystal and New Pink Winding Crown!

Yeah, pink gold is harder to find. It was mainly used in the span of WWII because gold was harder to come by, so they mixed in more metals which gave it a rosy look.
Very great watch, I'll try to get this one for myself ;-)

It is nice, it felt so good wearing it I was almost going to keep it myself. I think they used more copper when they mixed the metals??????

I believe so, some sort of copper, maybe other base metals. Copper was in short supply itself during WWII

Yeah, either that or no one wants pink gold anymore.

they have california gold in three colors,yellow,pink,orange ! dont see much on the east coast as you do in the western states ! very nice!
