Yes, picture 3 is just to show that part of the drive is removable. I'm not quite sure why they designed it this way but I prefer to take detailed pictures so buyers know exactly what the product looks like.

This can be used on windows 8 ? Can it be used with a 2.0 USB port or only a 3.0.

Yes this is Win8 compatible, you just need to visit the website to download the manager. As for USB, 3.0 and 2.0 are both compatible, however if you are using 2.0, the speed will be restricted to 2.0 speed. It isn't really much of a difference, at least not for me. I have a gaming desktop I built myself so I get crazy high read/write speeds.

Thank you very much! I have a USPS right next to my house so I will definitely ask them about costs of shipping to Canada before I ship. Just to be safe though, I'd say be prepared to pay $20 but expect $10. I value honesty and respect so I will try my hardest to find the cheapest way to ship, and I will definitely let the buyer know exactly how much USPS will charge me before I send it.
