They're actually candle snuffers and not jewelry holders or recipe card holders. They put out flames of candles. Some cultures have stigmas about blowing candles out so, they snuff them out with items like this. They were either made in India or Taiwan. Indians usually use bell looking snuffers and Taiwanese use animal or bug figures like mice, butterflies etc. Good auction.
