The listing, FIVE Eisenhower "silver dollars" NO SILVER has ended.
FIVE Eisenhower "silver dollars" NO SILVER - I don't know anything about them other than they are circulated and a worn. I know that people collect these for various reasons but these have NO silver value and I don't think there is anything really special about them other than one is a bicentennial.
Questions & Comments
Dude then why are you calling them "silver" dollars if they have no silver just call then dollars
Because many and there are a lot of people that call them "silver dollars." That is just an old term for them ..... "back in the day." And since many people still call them that I am using that term, but since there are some people that don't know that term.... uh em .... I am specifying "NO SILVER" so they know. The term is because they are about the size of the original true silver dollars before them. So when the "Eisenhower dollars" came out, people just called them "silver dollars." PLUS in addition to all of that, the Eisenhower dollar is also made in real silver. So my title and description is not only using the terminology used by many to describe which dollar coin so as not to be confused with the much smaller Presidential dollars, but it is also being very clear for those that don't know much about these that they DO NOT contain silver..... How's that?
Fact it is true, but only the designated mintage comes in to play, when it does contain silver, that would San Fransico or Westpoint, only mints authorized to make silver coinage, Eisenhower while on the subject you have Interstates his idea, we listened. The silver real ones are 1795-1935,only silver was taken out of use in 1964,silver then was .35 cent per ounce, gold was $32.00 ounce. its been used in war nickles to pull the nickel for used in the war effort,it makes steel stainless, connotations designate these coins with a large mint mark of monticello
why is fake confused with rare? if you own any of the following coins these are real, but scarce: 1922; 1931D/S;1913 V nickel; most famous 1804 Bust dollar, and the one NO one may own 1933 Double Eagle by Presidential order
Russia produced its own unique coinage 1 Kopek, Silver, 1 gold coin and only prior to the Revolution of 1917, the end of Romanov Empire. Mexico produced a special coin on its Aztec ruler for dates 1947-1948 cinco coinage, only, forget Hildago, its silver content is only 10%
