The listing, Flip UltraHD Cam 4GB has ended.

This is a used flip cam that I got years ago as a gift and only used it probably about 3 times. It has some marks on it but other than that it seems to work fine.

Features:
-Comes with 4 GB of built-in memory, letting you capture up to 1 hour of HD video

-Connect the built-in USB arm to your PC or Mac to launch pre-loaded FlipShare software, and to charge

-It uses batteries (may need new ones, I just put some in to test if it still worked).

-The bottom also allows for a tripod mount

do you have a Model # for it? also, you said above it charges with the usb arm, but, that it runs on batteries, so, just making sure, it runs on regular alkaline batteries? and if so, about how long do they last? I like that it has a tripod mount. Any problems with it's functioning? Very Nice Listing. :)

Sorry about that, I'm not 100% sure about how it charges as I only used it a few times, but when I looked it up just now on Amazon it seems that if you use a rechargeable battery pack (sold separately), you can charge it via the usb arm, but it also supports regular AA batteries. Not sure how long the batteries last, and as for the model number and functioning question I will reply once I get home and double check it =)

Hi, I put in used batteries to test it so not sure... I did however google it to see if other people asked the same question and here's what I found from one site:

If fully charged, the Flip Video Ultra battery pack can provide the Flip Ultra and Flip UltraHD video cameras 2-4 hours of power, depending on the model.

Aside from the Flip Battery Pack provided for Flip Ultra or UltraHD, you can also use two (2) regular AA batteries, Lithium or NiMH rechargeable AA batteries. The charge time and battery life for rechargeable AA batteries will depend on the capabilities and specifications of the brand you selected

You need to buy a flip rechargeable battery online to use it without annoyance of batteries unless it actually lasts for one or two full hours of recording nonstop on two batteries in HD? eventho flip was a pretty good company n it all depends ive never used the HD model I used to own the regular FLIPULTRA SD version so the HD one I'm assuming kills the battery unless you are still able to record in a lower quality or can find their battery for sale ?cause even with SD I could record for 2 hours till it died but than I could just plug in for charge, no more $$but I'm Pretty sure that they are ONLY available online anymore since the company stopped making these which sucks cause they were the only good flip I ever used..I wish I never sold mine with the rechargeable battery pack :/ now I have this awful Kodak one that just dies as soon as I try to record in any form of hd so I HAVE to record in lowest quality or it dies instantly and I didn't find out until after I got it that it doesn't even TAKE a rechargeable battery pack AT ALL after I bought one at staples n wasted money I need to list that battery :/...if only it had a better battery it makes the world of difference if u wanna be able to just pull out and shoot for a few hours while turning off or leaving on I miss my old flip :/ sorry rambling on lol

Yeah but the charging question was asked yesterday so I didn't want to buy new batteries since it was ending soon and I'd only have 2 days to see if it had died or was still working, it doesn't even seem to show me a battery sign when I turn it on :P So hopefully that website is correct.

Oh you're barely verified as well :x u look like you have never used anything besides the app? The website gives u all the good badges just go visit it a few times u get way more stuff than from using the restrictive listia app...lol I live it though its all I use but have to def check the website often cause their are certain things you can't even get to on here ESP for any seller ...the app has MANY less features..and certain badges u cannot get until you use the site yatta yatta watching !

Nope, it is a very simple camera. You can basically just record and then watch the videos you recorded, and delete them.
