Thanks. It is about 15 1/2 inches not counting the lacing at top. The lacing is long so you can use it on a tree or in a window or where ever. You can cut it if it is too long. You need it long if you're going to tie to a tree which I do at times.

The round part is made of plastic beads. The tail is made of "special" beads that are either color related,glass, or faceted so they throw off dancing lights and just add blitz.
