This is a Huge note from Germany. Date: 1910 Denomination: 1000 Marks Size: 7 3/8 inches by 4 3/8 inches. (very large note)
This note is in very nice condition. There are some great close ups for you to decide it's grade and value to you.

Questions & Comments
@chrisp I did the exact same thing! But I had to sell it. Desperate times call for desperate measures =( I could kick myself for selling off all my silver! Hard! lol
This is lovely, absolutely beautiful! I will be watching!
it's not bto late to jump back in. I use Provident Metals. They realy have the best buy and sell prices and no limits(minimum) for poor folk like me :) Thats where I get my silver fractionals. No grams but they do have 1/10th oz. Along with 90% and everything else you an imagine. Fast shipping.... Anyway, .... Thanks for looking. It is a beautiful not.
wait... let me rephrase that i know it's obviously german currency but what do you do w/it? can it still be used as cash or is it like a collector's piece? don't mean to sound dumb i just want to learn. thanks tony
are you laughing yet?... is that a total blond comment or what? ok... now seriously though.... ummm can you please be kind enough to explain what a "note" is?
Like this auction....will be watching and bidding! I love historical pieces such as these! Do you happen to come across anything from the WWII era! Any Third Reich or U.S. items!
I do as thats my main focus on most of my collections. Mainly WWII or earlier and you have my attention :) I love WW I stuff. Pretty much if it's old I like it :) Thanks for looking and I did fan you. Thanks
I was reading the comments and saw that you mentioned you bought a lot with consecutive numbers!!! SCORE! If you ever list some one here shoot me a message!!! :)
no prob. I'm working on trying to get some more. If I do I will definitely share some here and let you know. I remember you like to try and get the sequential serial numbers. I think the guy I got em from has a few different series with consec.'s.
Thanks man. It is definately a work of art. I wish our money had a little flair to it bit of art like it used to. The reason I like this older German stuff is that it's affordable to me. I can't touch the US notes with this kind of detail and beautiful art on it. I'd love some day to have a couple of the US Educational notes in my collection. They're one of my favorites. Thanks for looking.
the last 2 days were crazy. I'm looking at it rite now and silver is 4831, yesterday morning it went down to under 45 then ended at 47 something. I think it's still not to late to jump in.
I love the Notgeld. I don't have too many but it's so interesting. Pretty soon they'll be doing something similar here if things don't start changing. We'll be bringing wheelbarrows full of green backs just to get milk and bread :)
oh my goodness!! i just sent you an email about trying to put up some neat paper money with beautiful artwork, and of course, i just happened upon this lovely piece!! This happens to be one of the ones i picked up today!! haha!! too funny!! We must have good taste!!
