Up for auction is five antique forks. I DO NOT KNOW what type of metal(s)...plated...etc. I can see markings on the back that say, " R. Wallace A1". If you know these markings please share. I would have to agree...they are a smaller fork, the type of fork you get when you eat/order crab/lobster

A1 - this simply refers to the thickness of the silver applied to the surface. It is more than likely silver plated and it is an oyster fork
