Donald in Mathmagic Land is so ancient, one of my teachers in grade school showed it to us...... I graduated from HS in 1973.... what does that tell you about the film? Well, it is timeless enough to get re-released, so I believe that we should tie all little hyper-active, Ritilan-riddled, behaviorally-challenged 8 yr.-olds to chairs and make them watch this......along with their over-indulgent, discipline-deficit disorder parent-partners-in-crime. If it doesn't kill them, it may cure them......
(I had four of my own......who survived to adulthood, and are brilliant, kind and Donald Duck devotees.).

Though Winnie is, in and of his rumbly-tumbly, round, 'silly-old-bear-self, an eternal joy., he is a little slow to connect and not the very best of role-models. To view this selection would be a seasonal gift of sweetness beyond honey and softness beyond a cloud....most probably making me inclined to roll myself in mud, solicit some balloons and pretend to be a little black rain cloud hovering over the honey-tree. ... a delightful avocation for one of any age.
As for High School Musical.... if my 10 yr. old granddaughter cannot appreciate it (she barely tolerates it), I suspect that it is not for me. Yet, 2 out of 3 is never bad... and I am SO GOOD at finding homes for wayward or abandon movies. Keeping them recycling is such a grander life than the inevitable demise of the unwanted: a trash heap.
