Questions & Comments
I understand it's not my listing, it just seems like people should be understanding if someone made a mistake, tried to change it and can't, and specified many times it was a mistake. Just seems like the decent human thing to do is not to hold her to paying for shipping, especially when it's a larger item. Perhaps I just feel like the point of giving things away free using Listia is part of that having compassion for others. It's sad that you don't.
Yep, I blocked grams2013, too. I don't want anyone like that bidding on my auctions. I'll bid on it and pick it up locally, so she doesn't have to worry about shipping. Or I'll I'll let her file a ticket and say she can't find it and we'll give each other positive feedback, because that would be the right thing to do in this situation. I can't believe that grams2013 would take advantage of a newbie like that. There are wonderful people on Listia, and yeah, there are people like that. Sheesh.
You are right, K8teG! People should be more understanding. grams2013, I'm blocking you for being the way you are about this. jazzyb24, don't ship this and just take your negative feedback from the high bidder which seems to be grams2013, and explain what happened in the feedback you leave for her!
I could understand if someone offered free shipping and changed their mind, but if you look you will see this is someone's first listing and they did not intend to select that option. There is no reason to bully them in to thinking they must pay free shipping just because you don't want to pay shipping for an item you clearly want.
http://www.listia.com/rules Please quote me where the rules specify you must follow through on a mistake. Because I can't find anything that holds her to the free shipping since she has made it clear it was an accident.
If you can't figure out how to change the shipping options, you need to send a ticket to Listia Support and ask them to do it for you, or to start the auction over for you. You can find the link at the bottom of any page or copy and paste this link into your browser: https://help.listia.com/requests/new
Everyone else needs to mind their own business!!! i am paying the shipping.!!!!!! i dont believe in negative comments. plus i don't block people for stupid reasons
I do understand. Don't say I have had that problem too and I went ahead and paid the shipping. Sometimes the items that I make get very high to ship. So I have a set shipping cost so if the item is larger I have to pay a higher price. So yes I do understand
Jazzyb24, you may want to try editing your listing on a computer, on listia.com instead of the phone or ipad app. I've noticed it is easier to change things.
