The listing, VINTAGE JADE & CORRAL BUTTERFLY PIN has ended.

This Butterfly is a dark green jade with angel Pink corral eyes and set in 18ktgp. It measures 1 1/2 inches by 1 inch. The roll over clasp is in great working order and tight.
This was a gift to my grandmother from my uncle who got this pin for her, while on a furlough in Korea during the war. Very dainty and sweet.

Is the green solid or are there spots that have less color than others and no marks?

Its mostly solid but has a very small amount of lighter spots.

How old is the piece?

As it state in my description.....it was a gift from my uncle to my grandmother when he got it in Korea on a furlough. 1951 to 53 in that area.
