Description

The listing, Plaster Craft Flower & Garden Shop To Paint has ended.

Plaster craft "Flower & Garden Shop" ready to paint. Approx. 4 1/2" tall x 4" wide. Very detailed. I would do some sanding around the inside of windows but, otherwise no extra detailing needed before painting. Did not come in shrink wrap. It is brand new. I have done many plaster craft items in the past & this one is definitely of higher quality. Forgot to take pic of bottom/inside. It is approx. 1/2" thick on all 4 sides.

All Listia rules apply.

I used to paint these decades ago. I didn't think you could get them anymore. Fanned and definitely watching! :-)

Thank you! I love them. They turn out so cute. This just happened to be a double. I have 6 more that are going on ebay today. (I hope I can say that.) If they don't sell there, I will eventually put them up here.
Fanned you back & I love your kitty! What eyes!

I think your kitty is so cute! Mine is Raphael and he used to love having his picture taken. I need to build up my credits again. I went on a spree. I am usually a last minute bidder, so if I have the credits, I will be bidding then. Thanks for offering this. :-)

Raphael is adorable! Unfortunately, the pic I have up I got off the internet. My Boots won't sit still for a pic. One day I'll get him. When he's not looking. :)
I know what you mean about credits. I too, am a last minute bidder. Then I spend them all on one item! Hope you get a chance to bid. Have a great day!

I have an auction that should go pretty high that goes off about a half hour before this one, so hopefully I will have credits just in time to bid. The secret to getting cats to pose for pictures is to start the day they are born. That way they don't know it isn't a normal everyday thing. All the kittens we had were real hams because I took so many pictures of them from birth on. I really loved that. :-)

Boots came wandering into the yard of the lady I was caregiver for one day. He decided to stay. After she passed away, I brought him to his "furever" home with me. He was young but, not a kitten. All but one of my babies are rescues. I would love to have a kitten but, so many older animals need loving homes. I will try harder to get a pic!
I really hope your auction ends well! It would be awesome if you get enough credits to bid & hopefully win! Good luck & I will check out your auctions too!

Thank you! Actually, all of my pets were rescued from the streets. The kittens were from the 2 females I took in. I found them all nice homes I also rescued 2 dogs. They stayed with me. The male passed away in 2010, but I still have the female who is now around 13 years old, but doesn't look or act like it. She is gorgeous and resembles a Finnish Spitz. I may use her head shot at some point on Listia. She has a gorgeous face. And a purple tongue! I'm off to bed now. Been trying to get there for almost an hour. :-)

That's so cool to hear! I'd love to see that purple tongue! One of our rescues is Blue Tick Hound & Chow. His tongue is black & pink. Sorry to hear you lost one but, I'm sure he had a good life! It's so hard to lose them. The Chow mix is about 12, my only non-rescue (a gift from family member) is a Pom 12 1/2 yrs. & the other is also a Pom 2 yrs. She was found locked in a laundry room, no food or water & covered in her own filth. The cat you already know about & we have 2 birds. That's a whole other story! Anyway, I just got off work & am headed to bed myself. Hope you sleep well! Good night all.

Wow! That is a lot of rescues. The abused cats used to come to my mother's house. They seemed to know it was a sanctuary. We tend to find ours wandering the streets alone and hungry. The male dog we took in was walking down a street with almost a foot of snow in it and considering his short legs, I'm surprised my niece saw him at all. The poor thing had had his front leg broken and it had healed at an odd angle. We're pretty sure he was abused as he was afraid of many things. With us he was spoiled rotten and had a pretty good life. So, birds, huh? How do you rescue birds?

You sound wonderful! I just want to give you a hug! Is that your female in the new pic? Absolutely gorgeous! It's amazing how animals just seem to go on with life even when they are hurt. I'm glad the snow didn't hide that little guy. If I were a lost animal, I'd hope it was your streets I was wandering!
Our local pound, a kill facility, calls us when they find birds in danger. They do not accept birds. There are 3 of us that take them in. They are usually found in homes where they do a drug raid. I am blessed to have 3 empty cages right now.
Oh goodie! My son just came to visit! Talk at ya later!

Yes, that's my female dog, Cheyenne. Do you rehome the birds? Sounds interesting. I hope you have a nice visit with your son. I'm going grocery shopping with my son a little later. Have a great day!

Yes, I find homes for the birds. I will keep the 2 forever because I've already had them for so long. The cockatiel was also a gift. He was hatched the day my husband & I were married. The gal that gave him to us used to be a breeder. Part of the reason she no longer breeds is because of taking in rescues. We don't have much trouble placing them though. Cats are the hardest. Everyone wants a kitten! We will take in one more dog & 2 more cats to keep but, I need the open cages for rescues. No more room. We live in a 36' motorhome.
Have fun shopping & you have a great day too!

Whoa! I'm amazed you can fit everyone in the motorhome! Good for you! I just can't resist helping animals. I've never had an animal hurt me on purpose. I've had plenty of humans do so. And animals don't ask for much. My kids had every animal you can think of when they were growing up. We even took in a Chinchilla. He was so sweet, but he had medical problems that were too severe to fix and we had to have him put to sleep. It was so hard to do. I'm just glad for the time we did have with him. Well, my son is here for dinner and some card playing, so I'm off to do that. Thanks for sharing. I love hearing from fellow animal lovers!

We are a little crowded but, happy. You are right, humans will hurt you a lot faster than an animal. I have been bit by scared animals but, that's understandable. Never has one hurt me on purpose. With large birds, like parrots, I put my bare hand in first but, if they start to peck, I use a leather glove for safety. Sometimes it is the only way to catch them. That can be scary for them.
I love chinchillas! Haven't had any for about 35 yrs. though. I would laugh out loud when they took a bath in the pumice dust! It was such fun to see them rolling & kicking around in the "tub"! Mine liked to nibble on fingernails too.
Well, have a good evening. I'm off to list some things on that "other" auction site myself. :-D

Haven't listed on that "other" auction site in years. Still BIN though, occasionally. I have a busy late afternoon and evening of running errands ahead of me. Oh well, sorry no time to chat. Have a good one. :-)

I just calculated postage at the USPS website. For a 1 lb 7 oz package the rates were the same if you are mailing to the East Coast, Hawaii or Alaska. Are you referring to overweight packages?
