This book is a work of art..a beautiful piece of art with maps and pockets and even "fairy wings"..this is suppose to be a journal of a womens discovery that fairys are real! my little girl was obsessed with this book and spent hours and hours looking at it, sharing it with her friends and daydreaming about the fantasy world ..incredible realistic illustration and details..i've never seen anything like it..has a pretty fairy in a jewel on the cover ..phenomenal! this is light in weight but good sized book, soft interesting cover-great for your little girl or someone that enjoys fantasy/fiction works

I gave it to my daughter at 8 or. 9 so that seems appropriate. There's nothing adult in it or inappropriate.

I would say its for any age, but I think little girls age 8-12 would love it so much like my daughter. I have a 5 year old niece who is enthralled by it. Its just a really captivating book
