The listing, Vintage Gold Ring Uncas Manufacturing has ended.

Vintage Gold Filled ring size 6-6 1/2 stamped "10K Gold Filled" and with the Uncas Manufacturing logo. This ring shows tarnishing on the bottom probably due to years of wear as an engagement band and repetitive use and rubbing near this area. Gold Filled is made from solid gold and filled with other alloys. It usually doesn't tarnish and the rest of the ring should last awhile because Gold Filled jewelry wears like solid gold since its outer surface is solid gold. It has the same characteristics as solid gold such as durability and beauty but is much less expensive. As the gold is on the outer surface area, it is nearly impossible to tell the difference between solid gold and Gold Filled, except for cost. Jewelry box not included and only for display purposes. Comes from a clean and non smoking home!

How will you ship? I only ask because I received a ring damaged by the stamp-canceling machine because the sender didn't pad the ring or put it in a baggie before sending it in a standard letter envelope. The envelope was even torn enough the ring could've fell out but somehow it didn't.

I know what you mean!! I have received several bent and smashed items. I was understanding but people should be careful. I use a padded envelope and tracking to make sure my item arrives safely to you. I also always send clean items. You can't imagine how many dirty items I've received. It just takes a few minutes to clean it up and ship it nicely. :)
