The listing, U. S. Battleship Maine Silver Spoon has ended.

Hello, and thank you for looking at our auction. We are pleased to offer this U. S. Battleship Maine Silver Collector Spoon for your consideration. It measures approximately 4 & 1/2" long. The pictures should show the various markings and designs on the spoon. The bowl shows U. S. Battleship Maine above the ship. It shows Blown Up In Havana Harbor Feb 15, 1898 below the ship. It Shows Captain Sigsbee below the picture and above the shield and anchor. On the back it shows Crown Silver Plate Co.

It is likely an honorary spoon based upon the small size and other indications shown.

Based upon the markings on the back of the handle, we assume it is plated, but it has not been tested.
