Collar is adjustable
Shock does not hurt, you can try it on your hand
It worked great for my Golden Retriever when she was small and would not come to me, she still is full of energy, but now she listens every time I give her a command
You can also try giving them treats each time they follow your command.

Always be sure to reward them with at least a pet or praise when they do as they are told.

This does not come with the wire you will need.
Any small coated wire will work.
