The listing, Two Antique Heart Pendants + 1Gold chain has ended.

This is a piece with some interesting history. The heart Pendant is an antique , the gold chain is not. Please see details belows:

The heart pendant was purchased by my grandfather while he was overseas during WWII and sent home to my grandmother. He thinks he bought it in Germany or England but it may possibly even be from Polland. He traveled through most of Europe while in service so it is hard for him to remember exactly where this is from. The heart has a gold border and a enamel-like white center with a bluish stone in the exact center. The reverse side of the pendant is plain.The chain is a newer gold chain . Approx 8-8.5 inches.

The pendant and chain are in very good shape .

No the chain has no stamp. The only reason I know it is gold is becuase my mother bought it in the last several years. But there is no stamp.

I just thought of something funny regarding the above post- I know my grandfather was over during WWII from D-Day until the end end the for a year after. I hope this pendant wasn't from a girlfriend overseas- LOL!!!

NEWS FLASH-ATTENTION ALL BIDDERS- AS I'm weeding through these boxes I just found another pendant exactly like the one above with two distinct differences: the stone in the middle is a brownish ( almost like a tiger's eye) ; there is no chain with this pendant. Also there a few small scratches on the back, but these were obviously bought at the same place/same time. WINNER OF THIS AUCTION GETS BOTH>

The necklace is absolutely, I'm not sure if 14k or 24 but was purchase by my mother within the last two years, as far as the pendant, I'm sorry there are no marks to indicate either way. It does have a luster to it and whatever the enamel like subtsance in the middle of the heart is has no chips scratches etc, also I do not know what the stone is. Hope that answers your questions.
