This is a "mini" collage - 4x6 unframed - of some of Maui's best sights.
1. Keyhole - shot through volcanic lava rock of the North Shoreline
2. Inside the creator at Haleakala National Park, the most visited part of East Maui. The Hawaiian name Hale-a-ka-la (lit., house of the sun), is now nearly synonymous with the entire shield of East Maui volcano. Early Hawaiians, however, applied the name only to the summit area, the site where the demigod Maui snared the sun and forced it to slow its journey across the sky.
3. Lush rain forest scene with banana tree in the lovely, deep valley of 'Iao featuring the 'Iao Needle, a natural rock pinnacle presiding over the 'Iao stream and surrounded by the walls of the Pu'u Kukui Crater.
4. Blow-hole on the North Shore of Maui
