No it's not a zippo. I believe it's made by Continental. I have one in my collection as well as an identical lighter by Zippo.

I'm pretty sure it came from a camel cigarette tin or collector box. It was several years ago. I do know that it works the same as a Zippo and frankly it never occurred to me that Zippo was a brand and not what you called the type of lighter. Thanks for your input.

Hey hun..nice auction. And yes, though it is not a "Zippo"..its a "Zippo Style" Windproof Lighter. And its a good type of lighter too. I actually used to have a few. Its from Sailor Jerry's Limited Edition. "Sailor Jerry's" is a whiskey. Just to add alil more info. And I'll also add (even though this is not my auction, I was passing by and figured I would share alil about this. Maybe in hopes to stop the pettiness towards this seller) Though a good bit of Zippo fanatics and collectors take there's "Zippo's" seriously..I think its fair to say that if you know this isn't a Zippo. Then great. You know your lighters. If not, then you should probably look into what your bidding on. Otherwise, bid or move on. F&W! Maybe I'll even add to my collection
