This Stuff is Free Too:
Description

The listing, Apple 17" imac G5 all-in-one computer has ended.

I don't know much about apple, I got this in a trade and don't plan on using it.
Turns on and detects wifi, as mentioned I don't know much about apples so I didn't do much else with it. I saw in the properties it's got 512mb ram

Ships as shown in photos, powe rcord, wireless keyboard and mouse. It will ship in the original box with installation CDs Original users guide and some other pamphlets from apple.
If you would like this shipped, the parcel reads 29 pounds on a bath scale, my postal scale doesn't go that high so I would have to take it to the post office. We only ship USPS
Please message with any questions.

Why should I go through the trouble of looking for your website and calling to verify your legitimacy? Evidently you must have part ownership in this site to change the way things are done on here. It is YOUR responsibility to show that items are in your possession. ANY idiot can put up an auction with the information you gave!!! Only a legit person can put a piece of paper with their name on it next to an item. Of course you can keep doing what you are doing....good luck getting 5000 points bid on it though.

While I do understand your point, it seems to me that legitimacy can only be proven by delivery of the product. I buy dozens of items on ebay every day, and occasionally they do not arrive, I get a refund and move on with my day. Listia guarantees points so bid or don't bid, someone will have an iMac next week that they can pick up at our store or have delivered, if you choose to bid then I wish you luck.

P.S. Scammers can use photoshop to add a piece of paper to a photo of an item they don't have. Or ship a broken item, or even an empty box, food for thought. :)

You cannot charge for "insurance". You can ONLY charge actual shipping on Listia. Insurance is to be paid by seller if seller chooses it..

The 29 pounds does include packaging but the box is a "large package" because of the dimensions, they charge a bit extra for that.

I assume that since you're on eBay that you take PayPal, but even though it's been asked at least once, I didn't notice an answer. So: "Do you take PayPal"?
May 16th, 2014 at 5:24:17 PM PDT by

Sorry, YES. Paypal is preferred payment method for shipping charges.

Phoenixlaptops I do not have ups or fedex pickup at our location but if you wanted to set that up for one of those services and send a prepaid label that would be acceptable. It will be packaged and ready for pickup within one business day of auction end if won by an out of town bidder.

You can do what you want....I was trying to be helpful. The difference between 50K points and 5K points can be in doing like Listia and the community want. You can be as dumb as you want to, and your arrogance will tell in how many bids you get. Most people will not bid on a newbies auction when they are asking for shipping because it is a scam about 95% of the time. Things like proving it is yours and proving it works (by showing it on) are things that bidders like myself are looking for. With 900K points earned so far, myself, all I buy is computer related items mostly. If you do not want me bidding on your auction, then by all means I will go elsewhere. I just think your attitude is totally different than the norm on here and I am sure it will get you far with it. Good luck with your auction.

Thank you,
For those who didn't look at this closely Model number is A1058.

Nice auction. What he is asking you to do is write your Listia name on a piece of paper and put it next to the item and take a picture of it. I have been asked to do this before. They just want to make sure that it is you listing the item. Have a great day.
May 15th, 2014 at 4:34:57 AM PDT by
Original
That has absolutely nothing to do about proving that you actually have the item. The whole reason for adding the picture is to validate that you are who you say you are. Anybody could have pulled that information you gave me and made a Listia account with it. Putting your name on the piece of paper next to the item validates what you say.

Hi, and welcome to Listia. Is there any way we could get you to please print your name on a piece of paper and take a picture of it to show us that you have it in your possession. It is just a simple way to weed the scammers from the real listers and it also increases your bids. Win-Win.

Thanks for the tip, but my name on a piece of paper seems kind of irrelevant to the auction. If you are concerned you can visit our retail store at 42700 Mound Road in Sterling Heights and see the item for yourself. Or visit our website: my username followed by .net and look at our ebay and amazon feedback.
