Somniferium Papaver (Poppy) Seeds, Great time for spring planting. Fast growers. Recommend for outdoor planting as they do not transplant well, and special indoor lighting is usually needed when trying to grow inside. Free Shipping, and bonus included if bids reach 1000, for another seed type besides poppy, for extra poppy bonus included if bids reach 3000 or more. You wont be disappointed. Thanks for looking, and hope to say Hi to some old friends, and meet some new. :)

I want to point out that these are the "dutch blue" variety, and colors of petal range from light pinks, lavenders, to whites, with some pale colors... some with frayed edges, and sometimes I have had the gigantic's with multiple pods grow in the mix. Even reds, and some gorgeous orangutan-pinks. I'm always surprised. However, these are not the Himalayan blue variety, which is sometimes confused with the "dutch blue" because the name is due to the color of the seed, rather than the color of the flower. The Himalayan blues, are hard to grow for most people, and the pods are much smaller. I have never had much luck with them, and because they are so much more expensive to buy... I go with the ones that work best for me.
For those who live in hot climates, fall is the best time to sew these seeds, however they will store well to keep until then. To store mix a bit of cinnamon spice into a paper envelope, or even a spice bottle will work fine. i
As always I am generous with my portions, and I do not count how many is in each bag, but customers have always been pleased with the amounts in the past. A full seed bag generally is what I send, so that should give you some idea of what to expect. I will also include some growing tips to share with you what has worked for me in the past. Any questions feel free to ask.
