The listing, Yarn Lots 8 Skeins has ended.

What we have here are 8 skeins. There are 4 colors and each color is from the same lot. These skeins were purchased from Michaels Store and it is their Value brand.
I try to give as much detail as possible about all factors concerning the item, but please feel free to ask me any questions.

Shipping
Now here's the thing. I normally try to ship out as soon as possible, but I work long hours, so that will be most likely the weekend following the end of the auction. If I do not respond immediately to your emails, please be patient with me. My goal is too have items packed and ready to go right after I list them. I try to ship items free when I can, but times are tough and I really like to track items being sent to ensure they get to the winner. So I may not ship out the next day. I like to try to pay for the shipping costs myself. All watches are in working order unless otherwise stated.

I will only ship to verified addresses only.

Good question. I am a kind of new beginner in crocheting. I have been making granny squares for years. It could be that I just don't know what I'm doing...but I did not care for the brand of yarn. I only used one Skein that is not listed. I am partial to the Red Heart brand yarn. I had to be honest with myself. I really did not see myself using that off-brand anymore. Michaels has another brand that I do like, but not these. As a matter-of-fact, I have some more skeins of yarn that I may also add to this listing if it is okay with Listia rules. I don't believe in stuff sitting when someone else can use it. LOL

Great colors! I purchased a skein of this brand and found it to be too thin for what I needed. Odd texture too (a bit waxy/stiff? Something...), but I think that would wash right out for use in a blanket or throw. :)

I don't mind it being thin but the "waxy/stiff" part worries me. Would you consider pulling perhaps a 6" piece and wash it to see how it behaves? This is the only concern keeping me from bidding? Thank you. Fanned you.

No problem hon. Okay, I attempted to make a blanket joining large granny squares, but alas, it did not work out. So what I did was wash the blanket make of the same yarn in warm water on normal wash. I dried it on medium heat. I brought the blanket to work, along with a headband that a fellow Listia member made for me using the same yarn. She is a diehard, hardcore crocheter. I let her and others who are serious crocheter feel each one and they said the washed blanket was softer and I have to agree. I hope the helps somewhat. Take care.

Not truly thinner, but the color I got was on the thin side of a four ply. You know how some red heart colors run a bit different than each other? Similar to that!
