The listing, Schmidt Brazilian Porcelain Gold Trim Tea Set Complete Service for 6 Lot Catarina Perfect! has ended.

This is a gorgeous porcelain tea set.
Delicate--elegant--in pristine condition
All of the pieces are in perfect condition--no chips or cracks, in fact, they look unused

The size is puzzling to me--it looks too big to be a childs set but is smaller than what I think a normal tea set would be.

The cups measure 1 3/4" high
The saucers are 4 1/4" across
The tea pot is 7" high

You get everything that you see in the pictures

They will be well-packed--this is delicate porcelain

I am unsure of the age of this set but I know I can't find it anywhere--even on their website

Wouldn't this make the sweetest gift?

I believe this to not be a tea set but is in fact a coffee set. The tea set would have two more pieces that are covered that you would use to warm the cups and then pour the hot water from warning the cups. I also believe this because the size is not there. The coffee is stronger in other countries and they don't drink as much. It is a beautiful set and would be an asset to any home. I know I am not going to have tghe credits for this beauty but will be watching until the very end. Thank you Please fan me so I can fan back when no longer at my limit.

I have a set very similar to this. Not sure it is the same, but it is called a Demitess Set (sp?) My father gave it to my mother as a gift when they were dating. They are usually smaller than regular sets but larger than a child's tea set. Yours is beautiful and thanks so much for sharing! I agree with "Lavonnaisgaithercook" about the memories it stirs to the surface. Thank you for bringing back something very precious, memories of my mom who has passed. :) L

When I was doing my research I thought of Demitasse too. I know what you mean--but this set is a bit smaller than that--that's why I was so confused. Oh well, I guess whoever gets it can call it whatever they want to! LOL. Thanks for writing and thanks to all who has shared a memory.

This is absolutely gorgeous. Reminds me of the tea set that I have of my mother's. It is just simple, but pink Depression glass. Is put up to go to my granddaughter when she is old enough.

Hey, my family hosted a exchange student when my siblings and I were I. High school back in 1976 she brought with her a set to give our mom. And she Lais ,she would make their special coffee, Lais told us you just put a small amount and then add lots of milk. Because we not being used to that strong stuff, would not like it. Now she come here about every 5 yrs on business. And when we can afford it some one from our big family goes to see her. Its been a few yrs now, but we stat connected thru fb. Any wsy thats the reason their coffee sets are not the same as our tea/coffee sets. So yes I'm going to be bidding, this is more thsn just a beautiful service set to me. Its the memorys that seeing this set bring bact to me. Sorry to be rattling on so long. Its just the memorys for me are so big. Thanks y'all.
