The listing, 3 Large Gemstone Beads/Cabochons has ended.

Lot of three dyed agate gemstone beads, drilled lengthwise (from top to bottom). Each bead is approx. 60mm in length. The beads have good even coloring with a good polished finish. The purple bead has a spiral end pin in it, but that can be easily removed if you want something else.

The final photo shows an example of a similar bead with wire wrapping – this one is NOT included.

I’ll pay the postage but I can mail ONLY to the US. Smoke and pet-free home.

NOTE: Sorry, but I don’t automatically “fan” people unless I really like their stuff and want to check their auctions frequently. I can’t keep track of too many sellers and it gets to be meaningless when everyone just says “fan you … fan me back” to each other.

I need genuine gemstones for personal Feng Shui use, for my 'wealth vase'. You sound like you know what you're talking about but I have to ask if you are 100% certain that the stones (they're not cabochons) are really agate? I have to have the real thing, no matter what. Fake gemstones will hurt me rather than help me. Btw, a cabochon is a rounded, often high, gemstone, or glass, without any faceting.

You're absolutely right about the terminology. And I understand your desire for the "real thing." If you think a non-agate will "hurt" you, it will. We do draw to us what we believe. Anyway, the exact description of the beads, which I purchased from Jewelry Supply Closeouts, is:

"Large Gemstone Beads - Drilled Lengthwise - Lot of 3 different colors. Each bead is approx. 60mm in length. Perfect beads for Preston Reuthers Tiny Treasures pendant setting. Lot consists of selection of 5 different colors. Each lot is composed of different colored beads from the beads as shown in the picture. The agate beads are natural colors or dyed. The beads have good even coloring with a good polished finish."

Since the company has an excellent reputation, I can only assume they are accurate in describing them as agates.

Your info did help and I would agree that we pull in what we are thinking but when it comes to Feng Shui that is not enough. The items put in our 'wealth vase' have to have actual value beyond that of which we consider valuable. I'm going to bid and hope the source of these 'agates' are honest.
