Description

The listing, 5 Cemetary Iris live plants with rhizomes and roots has ended.

You will receive at least 5 live plants with leaves, and rhizomes (like potatoes) with roots attached. There is a lot of history behind these plants. People used to plant these over the graves of their loved ones. They do spread and multiply, but not enough to take over. The leaves get about 2 feet tall and when in bloom, the flowers will stand 3 to 4 inches above the leaves. They are a great addition to any flower garden and easy for beginners.

F&W Nice to hear about other people's traditions! I have never heard them called that. In my neck of the woods, all we planted on our graves were pansies, and then geraniums! Oh and they had to be red geraniums. Actually back in the 50's there weren't all the colors there are now. I think they only had the old fashioned red.

Same with pansies! They were just the old fashioned ones. Not the hybrids of today.
