Questions & Comments
This is a cool car model! I had a real one like this years ago but it was yellow with a black stripe! What a Hotrod it was too!!
If you still had it today it would be worth a lot of money! I seen one get auctioned off for close to $50,000! I never owned one, but I sure would have loved to!
Yes, I know exactly what you mean! I worked at a service station years ago and the owner's son had one. I rode with him several times and he scared me with his driving, drag racing other people! He had the motor souped-up and it would take off so fast the front wheels would come up off the street! Even though it was a little scary, I guess the adrenaline rush made it more thrilling and helped to overcome the fear!
I have some corvettes up for auction also. if your interested maybe we can make a deal. No one else seems to be. I even dropped starting bid and gin but still no response! Thanks for bidding I really appreciate it!
I decided to just hang on to the corvettes. I might be able to find a collector to sale them to, and at least get what I paid for them back. I had a lot more die-cast cars and trucks that I was planning to put up for auction. But they do not seem to be many people interested in them like I thought they would be. Oh well, that is the way it goes sometimes. The longer I keep them the more they increase in value!
I cannot believe no one wants to gin this! That is a heck of a deal considering what this car is worth!! Well, I certainly learned not to put collectible die-cast cars up for auction on here, that is for sure!
Awe man, that is awesome! I bet you got a good deal on it to! I would come down to 20,000 credits if someone was interested. I am losing quite a bit on this auction, but that is the way it goes. Win some. lose some!
I meant if I could I would lower the gin to 20,000 or add another car and raise the gin? But too late for that now! I had some more really nice awesome die-cast models, trucks and cars I wanted to put up for auction, but if I am going to lose that much on them, forget that!!
Maybe u can help me my dad had a die cast 1972 ford pick up it had real carpet and really life like details. I don't no win they made them I just remember looking at it all the time win I was a kid. Would u or Raymond 16 maybe have one? I have looked for the last 4 years and have seen some but they wear not all in one piece. If u or an one eals mit no wear I can track one down. I surely wood be great full. Thanks
I looked on several different web-sights that advertise and sell die-cast cars and trucks. I couldn't find a 1972 Ford truck listed on any of them. The closest I found was a 1969 & 1970 Ford Truck. Most all of my collection has come from a company called Fairfield. They have only the older models trucks 1940's-1960's. I will continue to look, if I find one I will let you know.
