It's not unlocked but yes it does take a Sim card I will take a picture of it around 3 pm because I'm in school now:)

All you have to do is call the carrier and get it unlocked and if you had a unlocked phone I would bid and you would get more credits for this phone if it was unlocked. Cause the winner have a pain in the neck to go through to get this phone unlocked and then have to pay for it and no one wants that. So please call and get it unlocked for the winner.

You can't "Just call the carrier& get it unlocked". That is done by the individual, and it voids the warranty. At&t phones cannot be ported to another carrier, just like the rest. They All have their Own operating systems, for instance, Verizon phones operate off of CDMA systems where others do not & that cannot be changed by the carrier's agents. You do this at your own risk. Not being a smartie pants, just have asked the same question of my carrier about using another carrier's phone on my plan with my carrier.
