The listing, Plum Lemon Tomato has ended.
Grow these beautiful "lemons" in your tomato patch!
Just got these seeds from Sandhill Preservation Center, and am really looking forward to growing them.
Apparently the original seeds were collected from an elderly seedsman at Moscow’s Bird Market during the August 1991 coup. Originally from the Saint Petersburg area.
The skin color and fruit shape look like perfect lemons: very firm fig-shaped 2″ fruits with vivid yellow skin and mild lemony flesh. (Excellent tomato in vegetable soup says one reviewer.)
The plants yield phenomenal amounts of 2 to 4 oz. sized fruit.
Mid-season (75 days from transplant), Indeterminate plants (in other words, they just keep cranking out the tomatoes til frost, rather than bearing all their fruit at once)
This auction is for 12 seeds - happy bidding!
