FREE: 2 Romance Novels

Hi. I was warned about the outrageous prices for shipping from here to Alaska & Hawaii before I put up my first auction. I looked it up & they were right. They told me it was okay to exclude these 2 states from free shipping as long as I put it in description. I took their word for it & did not look it up for myself. I should have. When it was brought to my attention, I finally did look it up. This is what it says. "If you specify Free Shipping for your listing, it must be unconditional. This means that you cannot add conditions within your listing for shipping to be free. You also cannot exclude certain regions within your specified shipping zone unless required by law." Putting it in the description does not make it "legal". I must ship to all states free. I will not purposely break any rules.Even if I could "get away with it", I wouldn't do it. I won't ask others to follow the rules & not do the same. If for no other reason, it's just plain wrong. I have been struggling to pay for shipping all along. We are very low income. Sooooo, although it breaks my heart, I will have to stop offering free shipping. Thank you so much for trying to help! I really appreciate it! Sorry I was so long winded! Thank you! Have fanned back! I love the historical romance too. Will definitely check out yor auctions. Luckily, another member may have found a way for me to ship cheaper. I'm checking it out today. If that's the case, I'll go back to free shipping! My auctions with shipping don't even have watchers, let alone bids. I understand though. If I can't pay it, how can others?
