Here today---we have a very unusual and DIFFERENT variety of the jew plant. This auction is for TWO (2) starts of the plant shown. (Basket in Photo #1 is N*O*T included---that is my mother plant!!) This is a non-variegated type of the many varieties of jew plants. The leaves are larger--purple with tiny green where the new leaves are immerging. Stems are THICK. Stems and leaves are textured, but not really FUZZY. As you can see---these make BEAUTIFUL hanging baskets.

You will receive TWO (2) STARTS WITH NO ROOTS, and the clippings will be taken the morning of shipping. Clippings will be from 4-6" (x2). I have two starts in water at this time. IF ("IF") roots appear on those, by the time this auction ends--I will send those. But plan on UNROOTED starts!!
Starts will be wrapped in a wet paper towel, and with plastic around paper towel to hold in the moisture, for the trip. I ship plant starts or rooted plants in a BOX to protect them from postal abuse during shipping! I suggest having a pot and fresh potting soil ready for when these arrive at your home!!

I LOVE this---and the basket I have it in just gets prettier every day!! I actually bought this because they HAD IT IN A PLANTER!! It was already IN the basket--but they had set the basket inside the planter, and it was stunning!!

Doesn`t this also bloom a purple pinkish little flower from time to time?
I know I had a small one something like this and mine was in the window and would bloom. Just not sure if these are indeed the same or not?

I would not swear to it--but I don't THINK SO---I THINK what you are thinking about, is the solid purple jew. I have some of that as well, and it DOES bloom and DOES have a pinkish tiny little bloom---I know for SURE, cause mine are blooming right now!! The ones listed here, I have just gotten--but I DO know there is a HUGE difference in the two plants. The leaves on the other are more think thin and pointed---the leaves on the ones listed here are wider---and even a different shade of purple. The purple jew has very THIN stems---and these have much thicker stems. Hope that helps!! Thanks for stopping by!!
