Description
The listing, Trinity and Beyond The Atomic Bomb Movie VHS (1995) has ended.
2 VHS cassette movie complete with original sleeve. This is the Special Director's Cut which includes a 3D bonus clip on tape 2. Those generic type 3D paper glasses (with one red and blue filters) are required to view that short segment of the tape (10-15 minutes or so), but the rest of the movie (roughly 2 hours) does not require glasses. I know longer have the 3d glasses that originally came with the video but you can probably pick a cheap pair at a dollar store or something to that effect.
This is a fascinating documentary with great camera cinematography work about atomic testing and the escalation to capture the power of the bomb at the onset of WWII and continuing into the 60ties by the Cold War. It is narrated by William Shatner (Captain Kirk) and was given multiple awards.
Questions & Comments
same here, it truly is epic, I have it on DVD and recently saw it on HDNet cable in 1080i high def. Blue me away. The power of the bomb is overwhelming and putting in the context of a eerie movie with a haunting soundtrack was genius.
