Plus not ALL phones are unlocked, so it isn't a stupid question. Just because it's a Straight Talk phone does NOT mean it's unlocked. Lots of people say one thing and mean another. Lots of new people are just scamming for credits. We wouldn't ask the questions if they WEREN'T NECESSARY, so how about you be nicer to the people that are bidding on your auction. Plus you don't "get" the credits until your winner gets the item. If you're mean & rude they can say they didn't get it and you get nothing!

Rooted is to android as jailbroken is to iphones. Gsm pretty much means sim card an cdma means no sim card. cdma is usually spring/verizon and gsm is usually tmobile/at&t
