Here is a great looking Antique Ladies Art Deco Style Windup Wristwatch. It is being sold as is and needs a little help. It is marked 15 Jewels, Ajax Watch Co., Swiss. I have had it running for about 3 hours in one spot but it keeps stopping and when you give it a little twist it takes off again. The Balance Staff is in good condition. It is a White Silver Color Case, and the inside case says, Winner, I.W.C. Co.. I think it is White Gold Filled but don't know for sure, I don't think it is White Gold though. It has a Blue Sapphire Winding Crown and a New Glass Crystal. The Stretch Band is not the greatest for this watch so you will most likely want to replace it! It has a nice Silver Color Dial with Black Numbers. Case has nice Engraving all around the Top Bezel.

Paypal Preferred!

I will also accept Concealed Cash, Postal Money Order or $3.00 in U.S. Stamps! NO Personal Checks!

Item will be automatically relisted after the 5th day if I do not hear from the winner! No Exceptions!

I also sell on Ebay under the same name (re44ie) and have over 4000 Positive Feedbacks!

I would say this is more of an art nouveau style watch. Art deco ladies watches were usually much plainer in the terms of engraving and slimmer too. This probably predated the art deco movement, so maybe it was made in the teens or early 20's. You can tell because ladies watches looked like scaled-down pocket watches.

It's a very nice ladies watch, I have that looks very much like it (in 14k solid white gold), it predates WWI, so it might be very old!

I have about 20 similar cases like this, some with movements, some without and a few 14kt. ones. Still looking through what I can put on. I have a few 14kt. Gold with Sapphires and Diamonds around the Bezel also. Will decide if I want to put a couple on Ebay or Listia, but it will be awhile yet!

How about you put them all in a box, list 'em here and put a 'buy now' price of 2000 credits :-p
I think anything gold thats listed here gets a stampede of bidders, while I would hate to see old gold watches be melted down, thats where most of them end up.

Nah! I don't think that would be a good idea at all! Nice try though!

Well, to be serious I think the best place for gold watches would be Ebay, most gold ladies watches have ad least 50$ of gold (assuming it's 14k white)

Your right, most of the Gold Watches I have sold on Ebay I have gotten good prices for. Would never come close on Listia. But, you never know I just might put one on Listia to give it a try!

I expect it would bring over 10,000 credits. Being gold and all

You can't tell on Listia what you would get, but whatever you list and whatever credits you get you have to accept! So if you have something worth hundreds Listia is not the place unless you don't care! Some things I have I don't care what I get for them and I will list them on Listia eventually!

I love ur jewelry and have proof I keep all mine or give for gifts. And take photos of everyone wearing it. This I think came from the Winner in, PA which has been in business for yrs., they sell higher end items and I bought my daughter prom gown there yrs back. But I hope to see more of ur watches here and hope to bid. Check me out too.
