The listing, 1943 Steel Penny (rare) has ended.

The 1943 silver colored penny is a wartime issue made of steel, and coated with zinc. During World War II, copper was so badly needed for the war effort (to make shell casings) that the U.S. penny was made out of steel that year, which is why most 1943 pennies are silver colored.

Not Rare All 1943 Penies were Steel. the Rare ones are copper because there were still some Copper blanks to be stamped the this is why their so commonly facked useing electroplateing the only way to tell the diffrence because faked 1943 Copper pennies stick to Magnets Just like the Steel ones
Copper = Non-magnetic
Steel = Mangetic
