This is a treasure, and cannot be found anywhere else! A friend of mine (who has since passed) loved Lestat and Anne Rice. He went about 2-3 times a year to New Orleans to wander the streets whenever he was on vacation. He also collected teddy bears ever since he was a child and even worked for Coca-Cola and grew up in Georgia.

He asked a local bear-maker in New Orleans to make him a Lestat bear, one that was closer to the books and not the movie. This was the creation. The bear is posable. The cape is velvet and feathered. Keeping with the theme of extravagance, the bear sports a purple necklace and earring. He is wearing a sparkly cumberbun and matching velvet pants.

Lestat needs love. My friend would love for me to keep him forever, but alas, I am out of space and have my memories of him that I cherish. I would love to have Lestat find a home with someone who will love and display him as he richly deserves.
