This is a listing for a "Russian Style" Nesting Doll. There are 7 pieces altogether. The tiniest one is crafted so intricately and beautifully. This is a rare and beautiful set to add to your collection or to start a collection. The biggest doll has gold foil accents.

On the back of the third smallest, there is a defect of a grey horizontal line. You can see it in picture #5. TYVM

I agree, but if authentic, would be much more in demand. I think this one would be a nice starter piece or for a child. It is hard enough it can take being used, or it would be nice to add to a collection. I ordered it in purple and it was out of stock, so I decided to put this one up from own personal collection. There is nothing on the bottom of these, they aren't special or from Russia or signed by the artist like some of my other ones were. These were made in China and they are just a beautiful set. I also collect and ship in from Russia. This collection was made in China new in the "Russian Style" Thank you for your comment. I have listed many different kinds to give everyone a chance to own these treasures. They hold a special place in my heart.

They really are a nice set and well put together. I would say this set is more for someone who doesn't have one or for a toddler. My 2 year old loves to take them apart and put them back together since this was from my own personal collection. From the time I decide to auction, I keep them hidden, and that's when I took the pictures. So you can see how extremely durable they are. Fanned back. Blessings, Djemila xx

Oh my gosh, I just got the same set! I saw that they were big at the Olympics and got a few different sets for people. I love them. These are indeed great! Always loved them as a child but never had real Russian ones. Adorable! These ain't cheap either, folks! Good luck on your awesome auction!

I love them also. I have auctioned many different kinds. I also have auctioned the sets from Russia, hand painted and signed by the artist. Thank you for your comment, and yes, I agree. I bought these for my own collection, but originally they were supposed to be purple and I got them for $35. However, they were out of purple after I paid and offered me a different one or to wait. Since they were directly from China, it was their New year, so I decide to wait, but after a couple months, I just chose the same design in this color which is gorgeous as well.
