May be a stupid question but doesn't someone have to have a BITCOIN address to send BITCOIN? Just wondering. I saw another auction up listing BITCOIN and they don't know what it is.

You need to have bitcoins to send bitcoins. You need to have a bitcoin wallet to be able to receive bitcoins. A free wallet can be obtained on blockchain.info which is also where all transactions are verified through. Thank u for your comment.

:) I'm new at BITCOIN but I figured you would have to have a wallet to send the BITCOIN. I'm interested on the outcome of that auction though. They don't have any idea what it is yet they are selling .5 BITCOIN with starting bid at 5000.(irrelevant) to my wanting to know what's up with that auction. Just asking you guys since y'all seem like BITCOIN veterans! Thanks! Fanned and watching!!
