Description

The listing, Antique butter or pickle server has ended.

This is a late 1800's Simpson Hall Miller & Co. Treble Plate butter server. It has a cow figure on top and a knife rest on the side. measures 5.5 inches tall by 6 inches across (these measurements are approximate). This would all make for a very fine piece if it had been cared for properly all of these years. But,this piece was literally dug up out of someone's yard. One of the cows horns is missing,the silver plate is worn and bubbled and it is out of round. Honestly,its in bad shape. But it really would make for a conversation piece. What do you think?
