Beautiful purple/red carrots with a bright orange interior give this carrot a very striking appearance. Very sweet flavor with a bit of zest, best eaten fresh from the dirt! Germination can be staggered if planted too early, so wait until 2-3 weeks after last frost when soil is warm. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil full of organic matter. Keep evenly moist and thin plants once 2-3 inches tall.
