Hello! We currently have two DDR2-533MHz-CL4 in our desk top. We have two more slots available for more RAM and was wondering if you think any of these might work in our machine. I understand you're not liable for being incorrect or anything. I have a friend I can give this to if I'm unable to use them. Other numbers on the RAM are PC2-4200-444-10-A0. Also, 512mb 1Rx8. Thank you!

Its all DDR2, so technically it would work, BUT you usually want to match speeds also. Yours is 4200 speed, so lets say you add the 5300 I have, it SHOULD work, but it will only go as fast as your slowest speed ram, meaning the 4200 you currently have. However theres a chance you could get a memory error, which would be indicating by a beeping noise when you start up the PC. Some computers will allow mismatched speeds, some wont. The main thing is the matching DDR, which you have DDR2, and i have DDR2. So its a 50/50 chance that mine will work in your PC. Thats the best I can say. You can try researching it further on Google and you might find more accurate info.

I just looked up the manual for our model and it says it'll run but just at the lower speed like you said. However, says only unbuffered, non-ECC memory is supported. Are any or all of these unbuffered non-ECC? Sorry for all the questions, just wanna make sure I'm bidding on the right thing. Thank you for your prompt response! :-)

Actually.... I think I just realized....the "U" means unbuffered. So I'm assuming this fits my needs??
