Another beautiful knife friends!! This is the last of my Imperial Ireland pocket knives. This beauty is in excellent condition!!
A RARE FIND FOR ME!!
This classic has a very smooth walk and talk of The blades. Walk and talk is the term knife makers use for the sound made from a folding pocket knife. The walk is the opening sound it makes when sliding open through its position of the liners and the click of the blade snapping into position is the talk!! And this vintage master has the sound of pure performance only master bladesmiths of This era could pull off!! The blade is from 440c stainless steel with a rockwell hardness of 58-59. The liners are of brass and the liner lock is of 416l stainless. The boulsters are 440C stainless as well. The touchmark on the long blade is stamped with the legendary "Imperial Ireland" and their "kings crown logo". The longer blade measures 2 3/16" and the shorter blade measures 1 5/8". The handle measures 3 1/8" and is a beautiful brown colored synthetic jigged bone. Total length when opened is aproxamatley 5 1/4" long. Closed it is aproxamatley 3 1/8" long.
